The Responder is UL safety-listed and has been designed to be lightweight and rugged. It is able to survive a 30 foot drop. It is waterproof and weighs less than one pound. The Responder can be carried comfortably in the hand, worn on a shoulder strap or clipped to a belt or pocket.
The Responder beam is pre-focused and the unit features two spare bulbs. An oversize push button switch allows easy, one-handed operation even when wearing gloves.

Divison 1 designates an environment where flammable gases, vapors, liquids, combustible dusts and ignitable fibers are likely to exist under normal operating conditions. Division 1 is more often used by Haz Mat Crews. Division 1 is only available in Orange.
