The Responder can be powered by either a 4.8 volt Ni-Cad rechargeable battery pack or four C-cell Alkaline batteries- a must have power option for professionals on the job. With the rechargeable pack, the Responder Division 2 provides more than 2 hours of continuous light and a quick charge time of 2 hours. Get called to another emergency before you have time to recharge? Simply unscrew the battery cover, remove the rechargeable pack and replace it with four C-cell Alkaline batteries and you immediately have five more hours of light output! Light easily snaps into a charger which can store the light when not in use. The Responder is UL safety-listed and has been designed to be lightweight and rugged. Is is able to survive a 30 foot drop. It is waterproof and weighs less than one pound. The Responder can be carried comfortably in the hand, worn on a shoulder strap or clipped to a belt or pocket.
The Responder beam is pre-focused and the unit features two spare bulbs. An oversize push button switch allows easy, one-handed operation even when wearing gloves!

Divison 2 designates an environment where flammable gases, vapors, liquids, combustible dusts and ignitable fibers are NOT likely to exist under normal operating conditions. Division 2 is more often used by U.S. Firefighters.
